Move over Bloody Mary, there’s a new evil mystery woman entity who wants to kill people in town!

The official trailer for The Curse of La Llorona has dropped this week. The first peak we got on the film was more of a longer scene from the movie itself. This one gives more of a traditional trailer in showing us various parts of the upcoming horror movie based on Mexican folklore.

In James Wan we trust.

I tend to like his horror movies. I really enjoyed the Insidious franchise, and although it had mixed reviews, I liked The Nun, so I’m excited with what this movie will bring. Although, it does seem to rely a lot on the jump scare tactic.

My trailer reaction below:

James Wan is also good at not relying so much on jump scares that there is no real plot. He likes narrative, and that makes me like his movies even more.
