Chauncey K. Robinson may be an award winning journalist, but she’ll always be a Jersey girl with a love for knowledge and great storytelling. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey she obtained her high school diploma at the performing arts academy Arts High, and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Theatre at San Francisco State University. Chauncey believes that content, in any capacity, should help to reflect the world around us, and be a tool to help bring about progressive change. She has a love for horror, good television, and artistic expression. As an on-air personality and writer some of the icons she’s drawn inspiration from are Octavia E. Butler, Stephen King, Wes Craven, Josephine Baker, and Elvira to name just a few. When not plotting world domination, Chauncey enjoys sitting with her cats, watching cat videos, and thinking about ways to get more cats.
