It’s hard out here on these mystical streets – especially Carnival Row.

A human detective and a fairy rekindle a dangerous affair in a Victorian fantasy world, while a string of murders collapses the city’s uneasy peace.

Carnival Row is a dark fantasy with an interesting premise, but suffers from uneven pacing and scattered plot focus. Also, it tries way too hard with the sex scenes to remind us it is an “adult” fantasy show.

Clownado

Things are about to get twisted– CLOWN style! Tornadoes aren’t just for sharks anymore, because Clownado is coming to theaters soon.

You know how an idea is just so ridiculous that it may actually also be awesome? I’m getting those vibes with this one.

Film director Todd Sheets (Bonehill Road) has a new horror film, featuring genre icons Linnea Quigley (The Return of the Living Dead) and Eileen Deitz (The Exorcist), coming to VOD September 3 and DVD September 17 from Wild Eye Releasing.

The synopsis for the film is a follows: Cursed demonic circus clowns set out on a vengeful massacre using tornadoes. A stripper, Elvis impersonator, truck driver, teen runaway, and a dude get caught in the supernatural battle between femme fatal and the boss clown from hell.

The countdown is on for the season two premiere of Titans on DC Universe, and things have gotten dark(er).

DC Universe has revealed photos from the upcoming season two premiere episode titled “Trigon.” The finale of season one ended on a cliffhanger of (spoiler alert) Dick Grayson embracing his darkness after Trigon put him in an imaginary world where Dick was forced to watch Batman go on a killing spree that included the death of Dick’s new love Kory. As season two begins, it would appear viewers will see the immediate aftermath of this event.

The official synopsis for “Trigon”: The season two premiere episode follows directly after the apocalyptic events of last season’s finale. With Rachel’s father, Trigon (guest star Seamus Dever) having successfully turned Dick dark, he sets out to win the others over to his side by embracing their inner darkness. With everyone under Trigon’s control, Rachel and Gar find themselves fighting what seems like a hopeless battle against the powers of Trigon.

In the official photos for the first episode we see Kory, Dawn, Hank, Donna, and Jason Todd all sporting the same black colored eyes that dark!Dick had at the end of last season, which means all of them end up under Trigon’s spell eventually.

Another photo shows Gar and Dick with no black colored eyes, so we can theorize that somewhere in the first episode Dick might come out from under Trigon’s control. Gar still looks in bad shape having been poisoned by Rachel’s mother at the end of last season. Or is it that he gets into a fight with the newly evil Kory, Dawn, Hank, Donna, and Jason Todd?

And why does Rachel’s hair change color?

So many questions and possibilities!

Check out the official photos below. The Season 2 premiere hits DC Universe on Friday, Sept. 6. What are you most looking forward to?
